Connect hard
drive to computer, install and configure software to
create a backup schedule that
fits your needs

Transfer
data from your computer to a storage device or medium,
such as network-attached storage,
an internal or external hard drive or another computer

Installation, setup and configuration of the Acronis
software that comes with many external hard drives.
If one does not exist back up software will be provided
at an additional charge.

Creation of
an initial Restore Point

Create the
initial backup.
If time or circumstance does not allow, confirmation of
completion will be performed remotely.

Recommendation: Creation an image of entire hard in
the event of a need for complete disaster recovery.
This process takes a snapshot of the drives state at the
time the image is created. This includes programs and
their unique configurations.
Why is this important.
If the hard drive ever needs to be replaced this image
can then be installed on the new drive. No operating
system to install, drivers to be located, program cd's
to install, key codes to remember or preferred
configurations to apply. We can save countless hours of
restoration to one hour (plus or minus according to the
size of the drive and its contents.)
